Cookie Policy

Last updated 2026-03-09

Effective Date: March 9, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how TomX Corporation ("TomX," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on TomLegal AI. By using the Service, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites function correctly, remember your preferences, and provide information to site operators. Cookies may be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

2. Cookies We Use

We use a small number of cookies, each with a specific purpose. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

These cookies remember your preferences to improve your experience. Disabling them may affect certain features.

3. Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service. Plausible is a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It measures aggregate page views and basic usage patterns using a daily-rotating hash of your IP address — no persistent identifier is stored. Plausible is fully GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant and does not require a cookie consent banner under applicable law.

No individual user behavior is tracked by our analytics setup.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services integrated with TomLegal may set their own cookies:

Stripe may set additional cookies beyond __stripe_mid to support payment processing and fraud detection when you visit our billing pages. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Google may set cookies when you use Google OAuth to sign in to TomLegal. These cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not control third-party cookies and are not responsible for their use.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete individual cookies or clear all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific websites or all websites
  • Receive a notification before a cookie is set

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies (specifically sb-session) will prevent you from signing in or maintaining an authenticated session. Blocking functional cookies will cause your theme and model preferences to reset on each visit.

For instructions on managing cookies in your browser, consult your browser's help documentation:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

On mobile devices, you can manage cookies through your device browser settings or through the TomLegal mobile app settings.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated policy on the Service with a new effective date.
